Scottish Target Shooting are currently recruiting for volunteer Board positions and we’re looking for people who want to help shape the future of the sport in Scotland.
Current Opportunities:
Business Vice Chair
Work alongside the Chair, Finance & Fundraising Director and Marketing & Communications Director to ensure STS not only professionally governs the sport but also operates effectively as a business. The role supports strong governance, corporate compliance and identifying opportunities to maximise STS’s potential to better support the sporting side of operations. This role can be independent or come from the STS membership.
Finance & Fundraising Director
Play a key role in ensuring good practice in accounting, bookkeeping and financial management. This role also supports the preparation and presentation of financial reports and helps identify and secure additional funding opportunities. This role can be independent or come from the STS membership.
Marketing & Communications Director
Support STS in identifying the most effective communication tools, delivering clear and engaging messaging to members, partners and sponsors, and helping develop campaigns that promote key shooting and sporting messages. This role can be independent or come from the STS membership.
Field Target AMG Chair
The position ensures the views of non-ISSF air gun disciplines (Field Target, Hunter Field Target etc) are represented and consulted in developing STS services and strategies. This role must come from the STS membership
