At Scottish Target Shooting we have a small team of paid staff to help us develop the sport and serve our members. There are three members of staff working from the STS Office based in Edinburgh.

Chief Operating Officer

Full Time

The Chief Operating Officer is a full time role within Scottish Target Shooting. The role is responsible for the daily running of the governing body. It is the responsibility of this role to work with Directors to break down the strategic ambitions of the Board into operational targets to be delivered by staff and committees. The role is also responsible for ensuring the governance of the governing body is fit for purpose and complies with the regulations of sportscotland and its legal responsibilities as a Company Limited by Guarantee.

Club Development Manager

Part Time

The Club Development Manager provides front facing support to the shooting clubs in Scottish Target Shooting (STS), identifying the needs of members and developing (and where possible delivering) services to meet those needs. The role will also be vital in updating STS data on member clubs, their shooting members and the facilities they use to better inform and drive our future approach, reports and strategic plans.

Performance & Pathways Manager

3 Days/Week

The Performance & Pathways Manager is responsible for the management of the performance programme, supporting STS athletes to ensure they get the best coaching and support to enable them to achieve their potential. The role is also involved in providing opportunities to bridge the gap between grassroots and performance shooting, ensuring talent has an environment in which it can grow, be recognised and developed.
