The 2026 Prohibited List: What You Need to Know
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has published the 2026 Prohibited List, which outlines the substances and methods that are prohibited in sport, following a consultation period with stakeholders.
WADA released the 2026 List on 24 September 2025, giving athletes and their support personnel time to:
Make themselves aware of the changes to the List
Review any medications they use
Apply for a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) to the appropriate organisation, such as UKAD or International Federation, if required
Visit UK Anti-Doping's website to read a full summary of the changes to the List for 2026 and keep up to date by following @ukantidoping on social media.
