Scottish Target Shooting (STS), the governing body for target shooting sports in Scotland, is seeking four new Directors to join our Board at a pivotal time in our growth and development.
As we move into a strategic review, these roles offer the opportunity to help shape the services we deliver across all disciplines, support our growing membership, and ensure the sport continues to evolve, diversify, and thrive.
📌 Current Vacancies:
🔹 Sports Vice Chair (open to members only)
Provides strategic leadership across the sporting direction of STS. This role ensures services remain relevant across all disciplines and drives greater understanding of our membership and opportunities for growth.
🔹 Marketing & Communications Director
Leads the strategic direction of internal and external communications, ensuring consistency, clarity, and engagement with our members, partners, and wider audience.
🔹 Business Vice Chair
Guides the organisation’s business practices and governance, ensuring the Board fulfils its responsibilities while working closely with staff to develop and optimise strategic partnerships.
🔹 Finance & Fundraising Director
Oversees financial strategy and compliance, helping secure the long-term sustainability of STS through sound budgeting and the development of funding opportunities.
