Scotland retained the Lawrence Cup which was held on 9 October, with a composed and disciplined performance against an experienced England team in the F‑TR match held at Blair Atholl. Both nations fielded 8‑person teams, shooting two details of two sighters and 20 scoring shots at 900 yards on electronic targets.
Conditions were typically testing, but Scotland settled quickly and edged ahead after the first detail. They managed to maintain their lead through the second detail.
The match also highlighted Scotland’s developing depth, with two under‑25 shooters in the lineup: Heather Anselm, making her Scotland Senior debut, and Will Cairns, both fresh from their winning GB U25 team performance at the F‑Class World Championships.
