Jennifer McIntosh is the European Champion in 50m Rifle Prone.
The Scottish shooter performed outstandingly at the Baku European Championships in Azerbaijan accumulating a final score of 619.1.
Ukraine’s Dariya Sharipova took silver and Sweden’s Marie Enqvist, bronze, in the event which took place on Monday 24 July.
McIntosh’s scores were exceptional throughout and got even stronger in the last two series. Her full scores were as follows: 102.6, 103.9, 101.9, 102.4, 104.2, 104.1.
Seonaid McIntosh was also competing in the event and finished 22nd overall, while Katie Gleeson’s final ranking position was 59th.
All the scores combined meant the GB Women’s Prone Team were ranked ninth overall.
Next up in Azerbaijan is Women's Junior Prone for rifle and in shotgun the Trap events will begin on Tuesday 25th July.
