2026 Scottish Long Range Championships Results

The 2026 Scottish Long Range Championships were held on Saturday 30th May and Sunday 3st May on the Jubilee Range at Glen Tilt in Blair Atholl, bringing together some of Scotland’s finest fullbore rifle shooters for a challenging weekend of long-range competition.

Set amid the spectacular Perthshire landscape, the Championship once again demonstrated why Blair Atholl remains one of the most respected venues in British rifle shooting.

The Scottish Long Range Championship occupies a special place in the domestic shooting calendar - it provides competitors with an opportunity to test their marksmanship, wind-reading ability and equipment performance at the longer distances that define the discipline.

Conditions throughout the weekend proved demanding but fair. As is often the case on the Jubilee Range, shooters were faced with constantly changing wind patterns with rain showers throughout the weekend. Thanks again to West Atholl Rifle Club for the use of the range and the gazebos.

On Saturday the prize list was split with Mike Barlow winning the Montrose Corporation, Angus McLeod taking the Montrose and the Saturday Aggregate and Nathan Harris, a pupil at Dollar Academy, with an impressive win with the top spot in the Marjorie Keir.

Graeme Dunlop dominated the FTR results on Saturday, winning all three shoots and the Saturday Aggregate.

On Sunday the wind became a little more unpredictable, Walter Buchanan won the Lyle, Kenny MacDonald the Stansfield and Angus McLeod top scored in the Irvine, the Sunday Aggregate and the weekend Grand Aggregate.

Johan Meintjes managed to knock Graeme Dunlop off his first place spot for the Stansfield but Graeme recovered to win all of the other shoots on Sunday and the weekend Grand Aggregate.

Thanks to Philip Leslie for the photographs and to Peter Burbridge for presenting the prizes.

With another successful championship concluded, the focus now shifts to the remainder of the Scottish and UK fullbore season.
