Saturday 14th June was the date of the 2025 STS 50m Free Pistol Championships.
This year we welcomed two new free pistol shooters, we do hope that the weather did not put them off…. On the day, torrential rain gave way to worse, we even managed a small flood.
The close fought final in the rain and flood saw Andrew Walker come through it all to come out top. Well done to Andrew on his second attempt at the 50m Championships.
The Gold medal and cup were awarded to Andrew by David Owen, the Pistol AMG Chair and himself the Silver medallist. Alan Goodall won the Bronze this year.
