GP1 of the Air Grand Prix Series was hosted by Cumberland News at their range in Carlisle on the weekend of 11 and 12 October 25.
The Smallbore GP 1 did not go to plan from the outset, with cars breaking down and causing computer soft and hardware being in the wrong place, plus the usual drivers of the range were not in attendance and only half an hours instruction on everything Megalink; What could possibly go wrong!
Those of you who were there, witnessed what could go wrong….
However there was always an alternative plan, pen and paper always works. Other than that, the GP progressed to a nail biting final.
The medal winners were:
Class A: 1st Kirsty Scott
Class B: 1st Freya Allan, 2nd Paul Glennie
Class C: 1st Charlotte Kim, 2nd Richard Kitt
Class D: Emily Jack
The final was won by Kirsty Scott with a score of 245.3.2.
Freya Allan was second and Paul Glennie was third.
There is no Megalink data for GP1 Rifle due to all the technical difficulties.
