Where in Scotland are you from? I live in Mid Argyll

What discipline(s) do you shoot? I shoot 10m Air Rifle.

Which coaches have helped you get to this point in your shooting journey? I started off being coached by my dad Graham, before moving onto the STS Performance Pathway where I am currently being coached primarily by Andrew Ross.

How did you get involved in the sport and what was your shooting journey to get on to the performance programme? My parents met through shooting so I grew up visiting ranges and competitions, mostly for 3P and prone. I was keen to participate myself, and started shooting air rifle when I was 11. I made my competition debut in 2019 when I was 14 and decided to apply for the performance programme at the end of the Scottish Target Shooting Grand Prix series in 2020 after making huge progress in the 5 months of regular competition. Since then I have been training with STS coaches and attending both domestic and international competitions. These opportunities to meet and compete with athletes at a much better standard than myself have pushed me to improve, which has allowed me to progress to Tier 2 of the programme.

Where you do your shooting? I shoot on temporary ranges as we have no permanent facilities in my area- twice a week with an electronic target I'm loaning from STS at school, and once a week with paper targets at Mid Argyll Shooting Club in a local cadet hall. Most of my training camps are at Denwood in Aberdeen.

What are your hopes and plans for the future in terms of your shooting career? I'd love to be able to represent Scotland and GB on an international level at both shooting specific events and multisport games.

Any other interesting non-shooting related fact about yourself that you would like to mention? I love music and I can play the euphonium! I also sing (2nd soprano if anybody fancies starting a choir!)
