The 2025 Scottish Open was held at the gorgeous Jubilee Range, Blair Atholl from Friday 13th June to Sunday 15th June.

With the entry list filling up by the end of April, far ahead of the deadline. 76 competitors (over our planned capacity) were looking forward to a packed three days of shooting over both short and long ranges with an International shoot, the Lawrence, between England and Scotland, being shot at only 600 yards this year.

The weather was mixed with some wet periods but mild for much of the competition with winds being deceiving at times.

Our dinner was held in the Atholl Arms main restaurant on Saturday night and attended by 35 people.

  • Bob Oxford came out top in the Grand Aggregate and the Championship Final,

  • Angus McLeod won the Caledonian Shield (the world's largest sporting trophy - on display in Blair Atholl Museum).

  • England won the Lawrence match this year by 10 points

Well done all our winners!

Thanks to all who took part, helped with the running of the range, to the STS admin team who keep all the entries in line and of course, thank you to West Atholl Rifle Club who allow us to use their beautiful range.
