The position of Marketing & Communications Director will play a crucial part of the new Board and is one of the appointed positions, therefore applicants do not need to be a member of STS and selection will be made by a committee. The role will provide the strategic lead in planning the promotion of STS, its event and the benefits of joining. The role will also lead the development of a communications strategy which will guide staff on communication with new and existing members and stakeholders. These individuals are crucial in ensuring courses remain of a high quality, consistent across delivery and provide feedback to support the evolution of the qualification.
