How did you get involved in the sport and what was your shooting journey to get on to the performance programme? I started shooting when I was at Merchiston castle school, but I came more heavily involved with shooting after a dislocating my shoulder. I then progressed in to the U21 squad coached by Ian Thomson, Sheena Sharp and Mike Osmond. I was in this squad for 4 years until I manged to get into the Development Squad run my Iain Maoileoin. I spent a year in this squad and then progressed to the Fast Track squad where I was coached by Anne Grethe. Now I am in Tier 2 being coached by Andrew Ross.

Where you do your shooting? Across Scotland mainly in Denwood

What are your hopes and plans for the future in terms of your shooting career? My hopes for the future are to shoot at the Commonwealth Games as well as progress into GB squads, but the sky’s the limit!

Any other interesting non-shooting related fact about yourself that you would like to mention? I love my hill walking and skiing, but generally love being in the country side with my dog.
