Colmsliehill Summer Series: Grand Prix 4
About
The Pistol and Gallery Rifle Association Management Group of Scottish Target Shooting are pleased to confirm the 2017 Colmsliehill Outdoor Competition Series.
Come and try 25m air pistol, all abilities are welcome. The competitions are varied to suit - 60 shot air precision to 30 shot rapid which include 5 shots in 4 seconds on 5 targets! The events are friendly and run by shooters for shooters of varying ability. There are four competitions left in the series which run on the first Saturday of the month (Except June when it is on the 17th of June).
Where & When
The Colmsliehill Range, near Galashiels (co-ordinates 55°39'20.9"N 2°47'08.5"W - see map) will host a series of FIVE open competitions held on the first SATURDAY of each month:
- 1 - May 6th
- 2 - June 17th (moved from June 3rd)
- 3 - July 1st
- 4 - August 5th
- 5 - September 2nd

Format
Each event is 60 shots to score, with entry fee of £10, apart from Rapid Fire, which is 30 shots to score, and costs £5 per entry. A multi-shot air pistol can be made available for those who wish to try Rapid Fire Pistol.
Safety
Ear protection is mandatory, eye protection advised. A scope to observe shot holes @25m is useful.
