Scottish Open Championships 2018

Weather was generally good over the 3 days with light winds so scores were generally high on the Friday and Saturday. There was some light rain on Saturday but dry the rest of the time. Wind conditions became more difficult on Sunday with direction and strength changing so the scores spread out, especially at 1000X. The Lawrence Trophy Match was very close with England winning by 1 point though this included a shot on the wrong target. The David Hossack Memorial Trophy was won by Angus McLeod with a score of 150v24. Steven Thomas won the Grand Agg and the Scottish Championship and Tim Kidner won the Caledonian Trophy and the Bob Aitken Memorial Trophy (highest Scot in the Scottish Championship).
